How long have you worked at Fremont Bank and what do you do here?
I’ve been working at Fremont Bank for almost five years as a Senior User Experience Designer. I just hit the five-year mark this month (May 2025).
What do you enjoy the most about your job?
I most enjoy the creative problem-solving aspect. UX is all about finding innovative solutions to user needs within our digital tools. I develop solutions that need to be functional but also enjoyable for all of our clients.
What’s your greatest strength as a business professional?
I consider myself a divergent thinker, which is someone who approaches a problem with a sense of curiosity, considering many different ideas instead of one “correct” answer. This allows me to generate multiple solutions before narrowing it down to the most optimal one in a given situation.
What's your current watching, reading, or listening binge, and what do you like about it?
I just finished the "Elementary" TV series. I have always been a fan of reading Sherlock Holmes stories — my interest in them started when I was a teenager. Since then, I’ve read every single Sherlock Holmes story I can find. I liked that this TV show kept logic as the prime method of crime solving, which is the very spirit of the original books.
What's your favorite movie genre?
I don’t have one particular genre I enjoy most per se, but rather, I focus on the content of the film. It has to feel like a “good” movie, which for me means it piqued my curiosity and keeps me engaged and interested until the conclusion.
What's your favorite superhero or Muppet?
I am a big fan of Deadpool, and my second favorite is Wolverine. They have a lot in common like resilience, moral complexity, physical and emotional scars, and a rebellious nature shaped by trauma and experimentation.
